At the heart of Kilmeaden Village is a new village centre, designed for people, anchored by a pedestrianised square and connecting through to Main Street. It is expected to include:

• a supermarket
• a crèche
• a community centre
• a medical centre
• a gym
• a pharmacy
• commercial and office space supporting local business and jobs

Creating new public and community spaces

Public spaces are designed to be welcoming, safe and accessible. They include a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), landscaped open spaces, and new walking and cycling routes. The community centre adds indoor recreational and community space for the village.

The village centre also includes 48 new homes.
